AIM

To collaborate with BCA landscape, to create a new dynamic square within the heart of Liverpool. Elements include a central sculpture and the Gull seat. 

CONCEPT

The Seeds organic shape, reminiscent of a seed pod or husk, also takes the form of a male and female outline. This inviting, tactile sculpture rests at floor level on the restaurant terrace, surrounded by sculptured trees.

The sculpture has been cast in aluminium and stands 1.2m high. The textured inside surface, has a decorative copper leaf finish, internally lit with an integrated luminaire.

 

THE GULL SEAT

The Gull modular seat reflects a maritime theme and can be placed within an environment individually or together to form a straight seat or substantial curved unit.

The seat can be manufactured in a number of materials, including cast stone, aluminium, bronze and iron.
